Single attraction in Muscat



The day has been dedicated to exploring the coastal side of Oman. Embark on your 04WDs (maximum 4-pax in each car) and drive few kilometers on tarmac road passing Yitti village and enter off road of Wadi Mia. Enjoy some photo stops, winding off road drive until connects sur highway. Stop Wadi Dayqah dam commissioned at Quiriat village for irrigation and water purpose, and it can store approximately 100 cubic meters water. After restroom and photo stop at Wadi Dayqah , we then start on an adventurous route cutting through the mountains. At the end of the drive, Wadi Arbayeen awaits with its deep pools of water set among the date palms. After restroom and photo stop at Wadi Dayqah , drive to Wadi Arbayeen. We will be driving for some time on off road to reach Wady Arbyn. ‘Wadi’ in Arabic means dead riverbed. This is one of the interesting off-road drive in this region After enjoying the off-road drive exit from the wadi and drive for Bamah Sinkhole, a natural sinkhole formed due to corrosion of lime cater stones. You will have photo stop and toilet stop. Drive towards Wadi Shab, cross the shore by small boat to start a beautiful hike, (requires good physical conditions and good shoes, as slippery rocks) in the heart of the river between beautiful mountains. A spectacular view awaits you at the end of the trail (after about 45 minutes’ walk) and you will not be able to resist swimming in this natural pool. Later drive back to Muscat.
