Bahla has a very long and powerful history. It is notable as the home of one of the oldest fortresses in the country, the 13th-century Bahla Fort which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site of which you will have a glimpse during a photo stop there. Then you will leave Bahla fort to visit Bahla castle in Jabreen (Photo Stop). After that you head to Wilayat Al Hamra to visit Misfat Al Breen, a 400-year-old unique mountainous village located in 1,000 meters above sea level on the mountain foothills surrounding wilayat (traditional name for province/region in Oman) Al Hamra. Then visit Bahla Traditional Market before heading to lunch in Nizwa.
